1. Who we are
The Read-Out is operated by Bureau Allenbach SRL, a company incorporated in Belgium. Contact: hello@thereadout.eu.
2. What we provide
The Read-Out delivers AI-generated transcripts of the EU Commission’s daily midday press briefing by email. Transcripts are produced automatically and may contain errors. They are provided for reference only and should not be relied upon as an official or verbatim record.
3. Free subscription
The free tier gives you access to daily transcript emails and the searchable archive at thereadout.eu. No payment is required.
4. Starter subscription (paid)
The Starter plan (€5/month) adds personalised topic alerts. Payment is processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account page; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
5. Acceptable use
You may use transcripts for personal research, journalism, and professional reference. Redistribution or resale of transcripts — in whole or in part — is not permitted without written permission.
6. Availability
We aim to deliver transcripts within one hour of each briefing. No service level is guaranteed. On days when the Commission holds no briefing, no transcript is sent.
7. Intellectual property
The transcripts, site content, and branding belong to Bureau Allenbach SRL. The underlying briefings are public proceedings of the European Commission.
8. Limitation of liability
The Read-Out is provided as-is. Bureau Allenbach SRL accepts no liability for errors in transcripts, missed deliveries, or decisions made on the basis of transcript content.
9. Data and privacy
We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Belgian and EU data protection law applies.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
